After making a huge impact on the Minnesota Timberwolves and their (short-lived) playoff run last season, Patrick Beverley suddenly saw himself getting shipped out by the team at the soonest possible opportunity. The veteran guard was included in an insane trade package that saw Rudy Gobert take his talents to Minnesota.
Now that he's with the Utah Jazz, Pat Bev wants to know what's up. The outspoken veteran literally went on IG Live to try and find out what Utah's plans are for this season:
”Utah what up? Let me know what y’all wanna do,” Beverley said (h/t NBA reddit). “Y’all tryna win or y'all tryna tank, let me know. The only thing I know is make the Playoffs, I’m tryna win.”
That's actually a fair question from Beverley. The Jazz just traded away their cornerstone big man in exchange for a handful of future assets, and right now, it appears that Utah is also listening to offers for superstar Donovan Mitchell. If they actually decide to part ways with Mitchell, then this could be the clearest indication of Utah's intention to embrace a full rebuild.

“Yeah, what's next?” he asked. “We gonna take Utah all the way or Utah gonna say they don't need me and go somewhere else. What's next?”
Pat Bev is at a bit of a crossroads in his career right now, considering all the uncertainty surrounding the Utah Jazz. You really can't blame the man for wanting some answers.
