The Utah Jazz are clearly the most lethal 3-point shooting team in the NBA right now, and may actually go down as one of the best in league history. After making it rain against defending champions Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, the Quin Snyder-mentored team established a new milestone by being the first team to record 50 triples a span of two games.

The Jazz made 22 of its 48 3-point attempts against the Purple and Gold en-route to their dominant 114-89 win at Smart Vivint Arena. In their previous outing versus the Charlotte Hornets, the Jazz made 28 triples, which again resulted in a lopsided win.

While Utah's defense is also a thing of beauty, no other team in the NBA can beat the Jazz whenever they drill their outside shots at this rate. The Jazz ranks at or near the top the league right now in all 3-point shooting categories, from attempts, makes, and shooting percentage.

Bojan Bogdanovic once again led the Jazz with five successful treys over the helpless Lakers defense, while super-sub Jordan Clarkson came off the bench and punished his old team with four of his own. Mike Conley also drained four triples while four other Jazz players made at least two.

Three-point shooting, of course, has been the name of the game in recent years. It's practically been the blueprint for the Golden State Warriors' most recent dynasty. It comes as no surprise that the best shooting team in the league right now just happens to own the best record in the standings. Plus, the Jazz are even winning in dominant fashion, too.

The Jazz improved to 26-6 on Wednesday. For sure, there will be plenty more wins and threes to come for this hot-shooting team.
