Three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade just got roasted on social media after pulling up in the 2021 NBA Summer League with a ton of bricks. The minority owner of the Utah Jazz made an appearance to support his new club but, unfortunately for him, things didn't pan out the way he wanted to.
The 39-year-old Miami Heat legend stepped on the court at the halftime break during Utah's game against the Dallas Mavericks. In the Twitter video posted by the official Utah Jazz account, Wade simply was out there knocking down some smooth buckets:

But, after scouring the Twitterverse, it appears that that wasn't the case as it was reported by Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune that Wade was actually out there putting up a brick house at the Cox Pavillion in Las Vegas:
Dwyane Wade went on the court during halftime to put up some corner 3s, intent on not walking away til he made one. … He was there for a bit longer than he planned, an airball, and a shot off the side of the backboard to his credit.

Apparently, Wade actually shot 1/5 from deep including an airball and one shot that hit the side of the backboard. Wade's brick show immediately caught the eye of Jazz superstar Donovan Mitchell who went on to roast his boss on Twitter:
Damn @DwyaneWade hate to see it 🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/oXq1vrWtql

Eric Paschall, Mitchell's long-time buddy and newest teammate, also hopped on the hate train to expose Wade:
Nah it did look crazy tho @DwyaneWade he snitched on you! 😂😂😂 https://t.co/mkvKZiECqQ

In fairness to 13-time All-Star, he wasn't shying away from all the incredible on-ground reporting going on about his awful shooting. Wade also went on Twitter to admit that he indeed bricked four of his five shots during halftime:
1/5 sounds about right. I was a 29 percent 3 pointer shooter in my career😂 https://t.co/pTW9hlyq53

For what it's worth, Dwyane Wade was never the best long-distance shooter out there. In 13 seasons in the NBA, Wade did average just 29.3% from the field on 1.8 attempts per game.
