LOOK: DeMarcus Cousins' agent tweeted out major warning just before joining WarriorsDeMarcus Cousins' agent recently tweeted out a warning, saying that big news is about to come.

Andrew Rogers, Cousins' agent, tweeted this out just before news came down.

The news, as it turned out, was that Cousins has agreed to sign with the Golden State Warriors under a one-year $5.3 million contract.

The details on how the Warriors acquired the big man will be revealed soon. But Cousins, a free agent this summer, had a hard time looking for a team that would give him a long-term max-level contract that he wanted.

To recall, Cousins underwent surgery in late January to repair a torn Achilles. He is set to return to action this December or January 2019.

He was picked fifth overall in 2010, slowly rising as one of the top big men in the league. For his career so far, he is logging in 21.5 points per game, 11 rebounds, and 3.2 assists.

Cousins will be joining forces with the back-to-back defending champions. Once cleared to play, he will most likely enter the starting line up with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green.

Curry actually tweeted about Cousins, calling him the 3rd Splash Brother. This could be a sign of how they intend to utilize Cousins' shooting ability from downtown.
