Golden State Warriors point guard Quinn Cook is expected to sign his new contract on Tuesday, after spending near-totality of the regular season as a two-way player and the last one signed by the team.
Having gone undrafted out of Duke University in 2016, it wasn't long until the praise started pouring from some of the big names in the NBA.
First was Isaiah Thomas of the Los Angeles Lakers, who recently underwent season-ending hip surgery to get ahead in his full recovery.

Cook has managed to do things by the book of Steve Kerr — score when you have to and let your offense come when you don't have to.
The former Blue Devil has poured in as much as 30 points in a game without any of the Warriors All-Stars, but has also been a reliable source of steady offense in games in which he's shared the court with the likes of Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, posting a reliable 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists in a 117-100 win over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.
Having become the first G League player to put up a 50-40-90 season through 35 games, Cook has been doing it just as well with the Warriors, shooting 49.2 percent from the field, 44.6 percent from deep, and 90.5 percent from the stripe through 32 games with the team.
