The importance of Stephen Curry to the Golden State Warriors is something that transcends beyond his production on the floor. His experience and leadership is also equally as important as his presence alone already gives the Dubs a mental edge over their opponents.
With the unique skill set the former back-to-back MVP has, defenses tend to focus a lot on him, opening the lanes and the paint for his teammates to score easily. His recent return from injury has made the Warriors an even more difficult team to beat which players and coaches around the league are aware of. That includes Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle, who will have the unenviable task of trying to contain Curry and his team on Wednesday, and hilariously described what he thinks of his return for them.

In his first game back last Saturday, the superstar point guard showed no signs of rust despite missing his team’s last 11 games due to an ankle injury. He knocked down 10 3-pointers which led to the Warriors' 141-128 win versus the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry finished with a game-high 38 points, to go along with four rebounds and three assists.
If Curry will be able to continue to build on the strong game he had, it will be a very long night for Carlisle and the Mavs. The good news for them though is that they are currently on a four-game winning streak which gives his players a lot of confidence and could make them perform at a higher level to upset the heavily favored defending champions.
