Michael Jordan is about as big of an NBA legend as they come. Therefore, it comes to no surprise that many of today's stars grew up idolizing His Airness. Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant was one of those people.

But, for me personally, when he decided to come play in my hometown, I just felt so inspired,” shared Kevin Durant, who is still recovering from Achilles injury after signing with the Nets in the past offseason.
“You know what I'm saying because man, you hear about MJ all the way up until that point and it seems like he's so far away and now he's in the same city and I can catch a train down there and go catch a game and go see the greatest player.”
At the age of 38, Michael Jordan came out of retirement to go play for the Wizards. In two seasons with the team, the Hall of Famer averaged 21.2 points, 5.9 rebounds. 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
