It seems there's a feud brewing between Kyle Kuzma and the city of Cleveland. The Washington Wizards took down the Cavaliers on Nov. 10, thanks in part to a pair of late threes from Kuzma. In a post-game interview, Kuzma credited his heroics to Cavs fans who had been heckling him all night and even took his own jab at Cleveland.

In response to Kuzma's comments, a Cleveland news station aired a hilarious graphic, roasting the Wizards forward for all to see. News 5, an ABC affiliate, displayed an image of Kuzma which featured a caption that read, “won an NBA championship thanks to LeBron James.” The Wizards forward saw the graphic and felt the need to get the last laugh, offering a hilarious retort of his own on Twitter.

The 26-year-old absolutely got the better of this exchange, while also acknowledging that there is a good amount of truth behind the news station's claims.

Kuzma was part of the 2019-20 Los Angeles Lakers team that won the NBA Finals. Kuzma averaged 8.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, playing an average of 21.6 minutes during the six-game series against the Miami Heat. Needless to say, Kuz didn't take home NBA Finals MVP honors for his play in that series.

He's flourishing in his new role on the Wizards, however, posting season averages of 15.0 points and 9.2 rebounds throughout the first 12 games of the season. Any Cavaliers fan trying to discredit Kuzma should simply watch a replay of the Nov. 10 game, during which Kuz dropped a game-high 22 points, including the two clutch threes.
