Washington Wizards star Kyle Kuzma shared the first thing he bought upon signing his first contract growing up eating nothing but fast food. In a recent video that was flashed in the jumbotron of the Capital One Arena, the Wizards' home floor, the 26-year old opened up about his daily routine and explained why he ended up investing in a personal chef as soon as he got his first NBA paycheck.

After pretty much living off burgers, fries, and pizza as a young kid growing up in Flint, Michigan, Kuzma didn't even think twice about switching things up and investing in his health with a curated diet to help him sustain his active lifestyle.

“That was my first purchase as soon as I got in the league. I grew up eating McDonald’s and Little Caesar’s pizza. I knew once I got money, that’s the one thing I really wanted to harp in on,” the Wizards star said (via NBC Sports).

From all those unhealthy carbs and calories, Kuzma forward has started each day with a Denver omelet which has ham, onions, peppers, and cheese with a side of a waffle. He also consumes a dish with either marinara sauce or pesto before and after a game. There's nothing like a home-cooked meal to make sure you're good to go.

“I do love eating and with my family genetics, if I don’t eat right, I would get big. Having a chef is super, super important. It also just takes a lot of stress out of your life. I’m not looking at the clock at home at 6:30 [p.m.], like what am I about to eat? I just walk upstairs and it’s on my table,” he added.

No wonder he's been playing at this level for the Wizards this season. Keep doing you, Kyle Kuzma.
