The Georgia football team is still undefeated and on the top of the polls and is on track for yet another run at the College Football Playoff national title game. The Bulldogs are fresh off their bye week and travel to Gainesville to face the Florida Gators in what could be a tough matchup. On Monday, Kirby Smart gave some key injury updates, but none bigger than the status of freshman running back Roderick Robinson, who could suit up for the game against Florida, per Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald.

‘Coach Kirby Smart indicated Monday that Robinson possibly could be available for Saturday’s game against Florida in Jacksonville. “Rod was able to go a lot of last week,” Smart said without elaborating on if he may be able to play.'

So, while Smart didn't say if Robinson would play or not, it's definitely a bit encouraging that he was able to do a lot of things in the bye week. The Georgia football team has been without Robinson since September 16 when he suffered the injury against South Carolina.

Robinson had done well in the first couple of games, rushing for a touchdown in both contests and providing some solid rotational usage to the running back position, so getting him back would be a huge boost for Georgia.

After facing the Gators, Georgia faces a brutal stretch of games with Mizzou, Ole MIss, and Tennessee before finishing the regular season against Georgia Tech, so getting everybody back healthy is key.
