Despite the fact that the Alabama Crimson Tide have absolutely throttled its opponents all season long, it appears as though the Ohio State Buckeyes are up to the task on Monday evening — early on at least. With Alabama quickly taking a 7-0 lead over Ohio State, the Buckeyes bounced back in a hurry, thanks in part to a tremendous one-handed catch from tight end Jeremy Ruckert.
After Ruckert somehow managed to haul in this reception that initially came out of the hand of Buckeyes superstar quarterback Justin Fields, Ohio State punched the football in the end zone to knot the National Championship Game at seven points apiece.
Buckeyes running back Master Teague ultimately found the end zone from eight yards out to piggy back off of Ruckert's memorable grab.

The Buckeyes notably upset the surging Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff semifinal round with Monday evening's opponent in the top-ranked Crimson Tide dismantling the Notre Dame Fighting Irish prior to advancing.
With the Big Ten not far off from having a season at all in 2020-21, the Buckeyes have defied the odds en route to reaching this year's National Championship Game down in South Florida.
On the other hand, it would have been pretty surprising if Alabama wasn't on the field on Monday evening considering the Crimson Tide had not one but two finalists for the Heisman Trophy this time around.
Wide receiver Devonta Smith ultimately won the award with both quarterback Mac Jones and running back Najee Harris finishing in the top five of the voting.11
