Last most of the country saw Oregon State quarterback Jake Luton, he was being stretchered off a football field. That's the awful, if not completely insane context for the upcoming news. Luton, who was forced into the hospital for the injury, has since been discharged from it, according to The Oregonian.
The gunslinger's father did post a message stating Luton was probably dealing with a “thoracic spine fracture.”
Jake Luton has also turned to social media to tell fans that he is doing OK (relatively speaking, of course) and that he plans on returning.

Teammates Ryan Nall and Jordan Villamin added that they had been informed after the contest that Luton was moving all extremities.

We're gonna pray for him and his family. I don't know exactly what (the injury) is, but they told us that he's gonna be OK.”
Luton was 22-of-35 for 179 yards at the time of his exit last weekend. The Beavers (1-3, 0-1 Pac-12) have a bye next week, before hosting No. 6 Washington Sept. 30.
The game continued after the injury. Oregon State lost to Washington State 52-23 despite Jake Luton looking good while he was out there.
“If we can do anything to keep them in a position to keep moving forward, we've got to keep pressing it,” said Beavers head coach Gary Andersen.
Here is to hoping the kid is going to be fine and makes a full recovery.
