Peyton Manning and Brett Favre will be both attending the same college football game this weekend. This is not a shocker, as the Tennessee Volunteers are set to do battle with Georgia.

The reasons both are going, however, happen to be pretty different.

For Peyton Manning, he is a strong supporter of Tennessee football. Having now been retired for a couple of years, no longer being able to yell about the position of linebackers to offensive lineman, he is using his free time to support kids at his old stomping grounds.

As for Brett Favre, the original Wranglers ad-man, he is going to the game to do what he does best — shill some product!

A Southern Miss alum with no actual direct connection to this game, via WBIR, Brett Favre will be going to promote ORCA:

“ORCA stands for Outdoor Recreation Company of America. They make coolers and drinkware and have licenses to feature NFL and college team logos.

In a Facebook post earlier this year, Favre said he genuinely likes the ORCA cooler.

But he only puts sweet tea in it. The Mississippi native said he’s not a drinker”

I don't even know where to go with this. I really, really want to make all the jokes about the gunslinger who couldn't retire properly, but part of me also feels sad for the guy. What kind of live is he living if he has to go to college football games to start promoting products from a company no one ever heard of?

Whatever. Bluh.
