NBA fans in Mexico will have the chance to watch some games live again, as it has been reported there will be two matches to be played in the country’s capital this December.

According to a tweet made by Paulina Benavente of Press Port Mexico, the Brooklyn Nets will go up against the Oklahoma City Thunder on December 7th, and versus the Miami Heat two nights after. Both games will be played inside the Ciudad Mexico Arena.

This is definitely good news for the Mexican fans, as some of the best players in the NBA today will be travelling to their country, and will see action in front of them.

Russell Westbrook and Paul George are undoubtedly the biggest names scheduled to play in Mexico by then, and will bring a lot of excitement to the anticipated sold out crowd. The Heat game also has the makings of becoming a highly-entertaining matchup, as their fast-pace style of play could produce a lot of highlight reel worthy plays, that will surely electrify the crowd.

Last season, the Phoenix Suns played the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks in Mexico City as well, and set attendance records for games played outside the U.S. and Canada, as both matches had more than 20,000 fans watching.
