The Brooklyn Nets are having fun right now. Clearly evident by the 36-17 record in the Eastern Conference which is good for second, just a half-game behind the Philadelphia 76ers.

Following their early afternoon game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, in which they spanked the Karl Anthony-Towns less squad 127-97, Landry Shamet was being interviewed when he was given a strong bear hug from DeAndre Jordan via YES Network.

Shamet had a great game for the Nets, scoring 19 of their 56 bench points. He also added five rebounds and five assists to go with a steal. Jordan on the other hand also contributed mightily off the bench with 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a block. Kevin Durant led the way with a game-high 31 points.

The Nets were without Kyrie Iriving, LaMarcus Aldridge, and James Harden, but that didn't matter against the lowly Timberwolves.

There's no question that this Nets team is going to be a tough out in the playoffs. They have yet to be fully healthy with injuries, but when they do they will be a tough matchup for anyone. On top of that, when you think of team success and morale, it starts in the locker room but it's also shown on the bench and in the post-game for how they interact with one another.

The Nets' morale is riding high, and the kind of fun and success they are having could lead them all the way to the NBA Finals.
