With the NBA All-Star Game tipping off Sunday night, multiple players participating are displeased with the league choosing to have these festivities, including LeBron James. Brooklyn Nets star James Harden is also among this list of unhappy superstars participating in the All-Star Game.

Harden let his feelings be known during his All-Star media session:

Typically, this event takes place over an entire weekend. However, due to COVID-19, the NBA has jammed everything together for a single night. The Nets star's take on feeling like the league has forced the All-Star Game upon its players doesn't bode well for the morale of the NBA, especially with news of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons being removed from the game due to contact tracing.

It seems as though James Harden and other NBA stars in the league would've simply rather had the weekend off:

It's certainly understandable for Harden to feel this way. It has been a crazy season in the NBA, and the second half is only going to be tougher as the league tries to fit in the rest of this 2020-21 campaign after all of the postponements in the first half. There's not going to be much time for rest.

James Harden's Nets have been rolling through this unique season even without Kevin Durant on the floor of late. Brooklyn is 24-13, which is good for second in the Eastern Conference. With KD out, Harden has been making his MVP case, winning Player of the Month in February.
