Brooklyn Nets superstar small forward Kevin Durant told Joe Budden on the rapper's podcast that he would love to have veteran shooting guard Jamal Crawford on the team next season.

The Nets signed Crawford for the bubble games at Walt Disney World after the three-time Sixth Man of the Year didn't get picked up by a team all season.

Unfortunately, Crawford suffered an injury six minutes into his Brooklyn debut in the seeding games and didn't play at all in the 2020 postseason, during which the Nets got swept in the first round by the Toronto Raptors.

While Durant wants Crawford back for 2020-21, the two-time Finals MVP admitted he's unsure if the Seattle native even wants to play next season.

“That's a good question. I don't know. I don't even know if Jamal wants to play again. I would love to have him on the team but I don't know,” the Nets star said.

The Nets will be title contenders next season with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving leading the way. Brooklyn shocked the NBA world when the franchise hired two-time MVP and Hall of Famer Steve Nash as head coach since Nash doesn't have any coaching experience on any level.

Durant and Nash have a very close relationship, though, so that clearly played a part in the Nets' decision to hire the former Phoenix Suns superstar.

It's also worth mentioning that Jamal Crawford has a strong rapport with KD and Uncle Drew.

Nets fans can't wait to see Durant and Irving play together for the first time as teammates. Brooklyn basketball will certainly be fun to watch in 2020-21.
