An unflattering photo of Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is currently making its rounds on social media. It features a clear shot of a noticeable bald spot on what looks like an unkept do from the NBA superstar. The folks over on the mean streets of Twitter have been having a field day at Durant's expense, and unsurprisingly, there was no shortage of LeBron James references.

For starters, and this is peak offseason NBA content, here is the aforementioned photo of Durant during a recent pickup game:

Interestingly, the photo was posted by Detroit Pistons incoming second year forward Sekou Doumbouya, who has since deleted the photo. He likely realized that Durant was being ridiculed because of his picture, and that the only way to stop it was to take down the post. Unfortunately for Durant, the most agile of Twitter detectives were able to screen shot the image before it was deleted.

Here are some of the best reactions from the lot, courtesy of Amulya Shekar of The Sports Rush and NBA Twitter at large:

Given how LeBron himself has long been on the receiving end of endless jabs about his receding hairline, it was only fair that the four-time NBA champ was brought into the picture with Durant — literally. Please try to remain calm as folks hurl shade in the general direction of both men. Keep in mind, as well, that you too might one day go bald.

What's hair is fair? As we've learned from the past, Kevin Durant is not one to take criticism lightly. Bashers are now attacking his physical appearance, which might be a touchy subject for some. Let's see how the Nets star reacts to the onslaught. Stay tuned folks, this might get interesting. At least this time, though, he's compared to an NBA legend, eh?
