The Brooklyn Nets have been ravaged by COVID-19 health and safety protocols. But that hasn't taken away Patty Mills' sense of humor.

The Nets got some good news when James Harden was cleared from the Covid list. But after having three games postponed, the question remained how in-shape the Beard was.

Patty Mills was asked to give a description for how Harden looked in practice, to which he answered to the best of his abilities.

Via Brian Lewis:

“Yes, he was here,” said the Nets guard. “He did practice. And what did he look like? His hair was freshly braided and looked very clean and crispy.”

Nets fans are glad to know that James Harden is still keeping his hair fairly tamed. But with both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving still in health and safety protocols, alongside a handful of others like LaMarcus Aldridge and Cam Thomas, having Harden ready to play is crucial for their chances against the Los Angeles Lakers.

“In a certain way, we have been dealing with different parts of adversity throughout the whole season,” Mills said of the Nets' postponed games. “On-court, off-court, COVID protocols, injuries, whatever it may be. This is just another one of those obstacles in the road, I think.”

The Nets are not alone when it comes to facing Covid-related adversity this season. But that doesn't make it any easier to deal with.
