Welcome to the second weekend of June!
Again, couch potatoes. You have three new projects to choose from this weekend… sort of. Just Friday. Netflix is just getting into the swing of things with three different kinds of viewing pleasure.
If you're more inclined to watch a Korean limited series, Hierarchy is for you, with only seven episodes. That about seven hours of watching — an entire Friday done.
If binge-ing isn't your thing but Glen Powell is, then you're in luck because his movie Hit Man is premiering this Friday.
And if your flow is more in the reality genre, season two of Perfect Match is also hitting the streaming service this weekend.
What's New to Netflix this Weekend (June 7-9, 2024)
June 7
Hierarchy – The South Korean teen romance series follows the story of the overprivileged, top 0.01% students at Jooshin High School, founded by the owners of the country's biggest conglomerates. However, a transferee threatens to upend the law and order already established.
The series is written by Chu Hye-mi and directed by Bae Hyeon-jin. The show stars Roh Jeong-eui, Lee Chae-min, Kim Jae-won, Ji Hye-won and Lee Won-jung.
Hit Man – Glen Powell stars as a mild-mannered professor who moonlights as a fake hit man for his city's police department. When he meets a potential client, the situation descends into dangerous territory when he ends up falling in love with her. The story is based on Skip Hollandsworth's 2001 Texas Monthly article of the same name. Powell wrote the script with director Richard Linklater. The movie also stars Adria Arjona, Austin Amelio and Retta.
Perfect Match Season 2 – A group of Netflix reality show alumni join the show to find lasting love as they test the connections they've made in a dating competition. Couple who are able to prove their compatibility then gain the power to make or break other couples in this slightly unhinged strategic dating game show.
The series features contestants from Netflix reality shows who pair up to compete in challenges. The series is hosted by Nick Lachey.
The couples who win the compatibility challenges get a chance to go on a private date as well as choose two new singles to join the game by either setting them up on date with half of the other couples or with themselves.
After the dates, the participants get to match themselves all over again. At the end of the night, anyone who's left uncoupled would need to leave the villa. At the series' end, only one couple will remain as the Match.

Tour de France: Unchained Season 2 – The docuseries returns for a second season as it follows multiple elite cycling teams as they go through tears and triumph to compete in the world's most difficult bicycle race.
June 12
King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch Season 2 – Ken Goldin and his team of collectors return for a second season to follow an auction house which specializes in rare collectibles.
Mysteries of the Terracotta Warriors – Make like Lara Croft, Tomb Raider from the comfort of your homes as the documentary delves into the mystery of the thousands of terracotta warriors left to guard the first Chinese emperor's tomb. The story includes archaeological evidence and reenactments.
My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman Season 5 – No full retirement for late-night legend David Letterman as he hosts notable figures as they speak about insightful topic and go on fun-filled excursions.
Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 – Polin returns for part two. Will the knowledge of Lady Whistledown's true identity stand in the way of their friends-to-lovers romance?
