Yours truly, Bridgerton Season 3’s second half is coming soon, and many unknown things could come to light.

Netflix released the trailer for the second half as Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) prepare for their big day. Meanwhile, Penelope must figure out how to deal with Eloise Bridgerton, who knows her secret as the gossiper, Lady Whistedown. Will she blow the whistle on her other identity?

About Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2’s new trailer

The series, created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes, starts by saying, “Dearest gentle reader, last night, an announcement came with great speed.” From there, there’s a montage of what’s to come.

For one, Colin asks his soon-to-be-wife, “Is there some secret you are not telling me?” This may have been asked because the ink on Pen’s hands indicates she’s been doing some writing.

In another part of the trailer, Lady Danbury proclaims, “Who needs fresh air when there’s fresh gossip?”

Pen tells Eloise, “Colin cannot discover my secret.” Eloise replies, “If it’s too difficult for you to reveal the truth, I will reveal it to him myself.’

This begs the question of whether Penelope’s secret will be revealed and whether she can maintain her two identities. Will Lady Whistledown be a thing of the past?

Her mom says, “Your duty is to cater to Mr. Bridgerton’s dreams.”

“Ladies do not have dreams,” Lady Featherington says. “They have husbands.”

The narrator adds, “While most seasons of our Marriage Mart follow a pattern, this season is surely a surprise. Gossip as I might, this author cannot tolerate a lie.”

Part 1 of the newest season is where we saw Colin coaching Pen on how to land a husband. She almost gets involved with Lord Debling (Sam Phillips), but things change when Colin proposes.

In this second half, we should discover if Eloise will reveal the secret about Penelope being Lady Whistedown to Colin — which could cause a major stir.

This newest season also features some great music based on popular pop songs. For example, there’s Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish, Dynamite by BTS, abide by GAYLE, Give Me Everything by Pitbull, Jealous by Nick Jonas, Cheap Thrills by Sia, and Snow on The Beach by Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey.

Along with the well-known tunes, there’s the first-ever original song, All I Want, by Tori Kelly. “The fact that this is the first time an original song has been a part of Bridgerton makes the whole experience feel even more special!” Kelly told PEOPLE. “Really, I’m so excited that I get to be a part of this amazing show in my own way.”

According to Teen Vogue, Bridgerton broke records when it debuted on Netflix in 2020 and continued to do so ever since. In April 2022, the second season was the streamer’s most-watched English-language TV series ever. It’s also received critical acclaim for acting, costumes, dramatic storylines, and diverse representation.

Check out Part 2 of Bridgerton Season 3 when it debuts on Netflix on June 13. We’ll see what secrets are revealed.
