Coming off a loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Giannis Antetokounmpo made sure he won't suffer back-to-back Ls on Monday night. He powered the Milwaukee Bucks to a 130-106 shellacking of the Charlotte Hornets, tallying a double-double of 26 points and 16 rebounds.

But while it has become the norm for Giannis to notch a double-double, it was also quite laudable that he also tallied six assists in the victory. In a report by ESPN, Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer acknowledged his star forward's orchestrating, particularly in the second quarter, when they scored a season-high 44 points to put the game away early.

“We were in a little bit of aggressive mindset. I thought Giannis quarterbacked in some of those situations, whether it was against the press or against the zone and found shooters. Sometimes we were able to play fast against the zone before it could get set, get some corner 3s.”

Did Budenholzer just unlock another facet of Giannis' perpetually evolving game? The two-time MVP has already said that he makes sure that he adds something new to his arsenal every season, and his playmaking has definitely improved. He is averaging a career-best 6.0 dimes per outing.

Giannis playing point guard isn't exactly new. To recall, former Bucks coach Jason Kidd tried to do this, urging the then-lanky youngster from Greece to hone his skillset.

While Budenholzer isn't permanently putting Giannis as PG, it's something he could keep in his back pocket for the NBA Playoffs. A 6-foot-11 athletic freak with elastic limbs running things for the Bucks will surely be a sight to behold.
