Booing NFL commissioner Roger Goodell as he walks to the stage to announce the first-round picks at the NFL Draft every year is basically a time-honored tradition for fans across the country.

However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NFL Draft will be held remotely throughout multiple locations in the U.S. rather than in-person in its original scheduled location in Las Vegas.

And while fans won't get the chance to boo Goodell in person this year as he will be announcing the picks in the basement of his home in Bronxville, New York, Bud Light is doing everything they can to allow fans to boo the commissioner in any way possible.

With the draft scheduled to start this Thursday, the beverage-making company announced their #BooTheCommish campaign. Bud Light is asking fans to send in videos of their boos on social media using the aforementioned hashtag.

The company promises to deliver the boos to the draft and for every submission they receive through April 25, Bud Light will donate one dollar to the NFL's new Draft-a-Thon initiative.

The NFL announced the Draft-a-Thon earlier this week. The initiative is a massive fundraising campaign part of the 2020 NFL Draft aimed at raising much-needed funds for COVID-19 relief efforts. The Draft-A-Thon will be live-streamed on NFL social and digital platforms and featured in live Draft coverage on ABC, ESPN, NFL Network, and ESPN Deportes on April 23-25.

Donations can be made at NFL.com/RELIEF as of last Friday and there is also a text-to-donate option. The Draft-A-Thon will pay tribute to healthcare workers, first responders, and others on the front lines of the battle with COVID-19.

To date, the NFL family has raised more than $50 million in COVID-19 relief while Bud Light will donate up to $500,000.
