LSU cornerback Greedy Williams is highly regarded as the best player at his position heading into this year's NFL Draft, but oddly enough no team's are reaching out for a closer look at Williams.

Williams is a fantastic talent, so it's strange that there are no teams that have visited with him or held any private workouts, especially for a potential top-10 draft pick. The teams projected to possibly draft Williams are the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers despite the two teams being very far apart in the draft order.

The Lions hold the eighth overall pick, and it's very possible whoever they are looking to draft, they have met with and are familiarizing themselves with that player. Oddly enough Williams is the top projected cornerback off the board, but there is a world of uncertainty surrounding where he lands at this point. Williams and cornerback Darius Slay could wind up being one of the league's best tandems in the league if he were to land with Detroit.

If the Steelers can somehow steal Williams at the 20th overall spot, he could completely turn around the misfortunes of the team's porous secondary. Although the Steelers currently have one of the more talented, complete defenses, they could greatly benefit from having Williams play alongside cornerback Joe Haden.

Williams will most definitely be taken in the first round and at this point teams who are interested in him could be completely satisfied just based off of his tape and speedy 40-yard result.
