Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Dwayne Haskins is considered one of the top prospects heading into next month's NFL Draft, and Lance Zierlein of NFL.com has a comparison for Haskins: Drew Bledsoe.

A traditional pocket passer known for his rocket arm, Haskins is coming off a terrific 2018 campaign in which he threw for 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 70.0 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 174.1.

Zierlein knows that while Haskins has limited mobility, he has great arm strength, which allows him to get away with throws that other signal-callers in this draft class can't make.

Because of his lack of athleticism, Zierlein notes that Haskins will likely remain “pocket bound,” but given all of his qualities in terms of arm strength, confidence and savvy in the pocket, Zierlein feels that Haskins could become a good NFL starter early on.

While Oklahoma's Kyler Murray is likely to go No. 1 overall to the Arizona Cardinals, there are some who feel that Haskins is actually the best quarterback in this draft class.

Recently, though, Missouri signal-caller Drew Lock has been gaining some traction, and Duke's Daniel Jones is also lurking in the background as another quarterback who could get drafted in the first round.

The general consensus is that Haskins, a New Jersey native, will probably go to the New York Giants at No. 6, as the teams in front of the Giants—sans the Cardinals, who seem to be set on taking Murray—are not necessarily in need of a quarterback.
