NFL free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown is facing life in prison if he is convicted of all charges. Browns faces a variety of charges including felony burglary with battery, which carries a potential sentence of life in prison.

Brown is facing charges after an incident with a delivery driver. He reportedly refused to pay the bill. Brown also allegedly threw rocks at the truck, battered the driver, and removed some property from the truck.

Brown's attorney Lorne Berkeley said his client was overcharged. Berkley expects the charges will drop down as the process plays out.

“They overcharged him,” attorney Lorne Berkeley said via Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com. “Once a thorough investigation is done, we believe the charges filed will most likely be very different than they are right now.”

Brown had to post $110,000 for bail and a part of the conditions he must undergo a mental health evaluation. Brown’s other lawyer, Eric Schwartzreich, doesn't see anything coming from that evaluation, claiming his client doesn't have a mental health issue.

“I don’t think there’s any mental health issues with him,” Schwartzreich said. “Antonio Brown’s life right now is a reality show. He is misinterpreted and misunderstood. He’s not guilty of these charges. He did not commit a felony battery. In this case, when all the facts come out, you will see he will be vindicated and he will be found not guilty.”

Whatever is causing Brown to act out, hopefully, he can get the help he needs to get his life back on track.
