With the start of the 2017 NFL season around the corner, Las Vegas has announced several of their futures bets for the upcoming campaign.

According to Ryan Hannable of WEEI, the top two favorites to win the Coach of the Year are New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Oakland Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio.

The Patriots have constantly been in the picture of finishing the regular season with one of the top records in the NFL over the last decade plus due in large part to the presence of star quarterback Tom Brady being under center. It has helped Belichick earn three NFL Coach of the Year awards under his belt in his Hall of Fame career, which could be fairly argued that he could have several more to his name.

Meanwhile, the Raiders have become a powerhouse in the AFC after reaching the playoffs for the first time in over a decade while winning the AFC West division with a 12-4 record. Oakland has retooled this offseason adding former Pro Bowl running back Marshawn Lynch and tight end Jared Cook that should help further boost their offense behind potential MVP candidate Derek Carr.

The other top candidates for the prestigious award are Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy and Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, which marks three out of the top four choices being in the AFC.
