Teams are preparing for the impact that artificial crowd noise will have on the game with no fans in stadiums to begin the 2020 NFL season. Fortunately, it appears Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is already familiar with it thanks to the time he spent going against the Indianapolis Colts throughout his career.

According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, Brady says the crowd noise sounded familiar to that of the RCA Dome back in the day:

Brady said the piped-in sound at Raymond James Stadium at scrimmage today sounded like “one of the Colts' old tapes in the RCA Dome.”

Although Brady may be starting a new chapter in his illustrious career with Tampa Bay, there is clearly no love lost for his former rival in Indianapolis. It seems the opportunity to deliver a jab was too good for him to pass up on.

Aside from Brady's jokes, crowd noise has been an area of concern for teams in training camp. With no idea of how opposing teams will go about pumping it in, it is safe to say that most are preparing for the worst.

Even Brady's former head coach in New England Patriots' Bill Belichick has acknowledged that this will be the biggest adjustment for players to start the 2020 campaign. Although not having fans in the stadium could serve to level the playing field, teams are still gauging ways to ensure that there is some element of home-field advantage.

Regardless, it is safe to say that Tom Brady is well-equipped to play in these unprecedented circumstances.
