Former New Orleans Saints and longtime Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant remains a free agent after failing to appear in a regulation game last season. While Bryant went unsigned for quite some time before ultimately latching on with the Saints, the former Cowboys superstar almost immediately tore his Achilles tendon, which ended his season prematurely.

Nonetheless, it doesn't appear as though as Bryant is rushing to get back on the field this time around either. Bryant tweeted the following on Tuesday evening in regards to his immediate future as an NFL wide receiver.

“This exactly why I don’t have no interest in playing football right now… I have not reached out to no organization trying to play … people forget real quick we are still human.. my anxiety and depression came from this type of stuff… what I realized nobody care but me.”

Of course, things can change in a hurry in the NFL while Bryant can certainly find himself on an NFL roster sooner rather than later. With injuries and other unforeseen variables often taking over the offseason this time of year, the longtime NFL pass-catcher will surely have a market when the time is right.

While it definitely doesn't seem as though Bryant is planning to hang his cleats up for good right now, the veteran wideout is 30 years old and coming off of a devastating lower-leg injury. Bryant may not exactly be ready to rush back out onto the field as his health is the most important thing.
