Former Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Commanders quarterback Dwayne Haskins tragically passed away earlier this month after getting hit by a dump truck in South Florida. Everyone is still mourning after the shocking news, including his wife, Kalabrya Haskins.

Per 911 footage obtained by TMZ Sports from FOX Sports' Andy Slater, she actually called the cops panicking after losing contact with Haskins. He had been stranded on the highway and was looking for gas. Dwayne Haskins said shortly after talking to her he'd call back after finding gas, but he never did:

“I kept calling and kept calling,” Kalabyra told the dispatch officer. “He wasn't answering. Eventually, after 10 minutes of calling the phone, eventually it cut off. It's not working now. I had his location. I just want somebody to go in the area and see if his car is there and if he's OK and if anything happened to him.”

A short time later … the officer told Kalabrya, “I don't want you to panic, but I'm going to be honest with you. We do have an incident on the highway — but I can't confirm if that's your husband or not.”

Unfortunately, it was Dwayne Haskins. In a separate audio call, a witness even said to the dispatch officer that he saw a man get hit by a vehicle on the highway. Truly a heartbreaking situation and our thoughts continue to go out to Kalabrya Haskins and the family.
