With the New Orleans Saints hosting the Chicago Bears on the NFL's first ever “Super Wild Card Weekend,” the league also intertwined another first into the mix on Sunday afternoon. With the NFL broadcasting three games throughout the day and night on Sunday, the league is currently airing the NFC showdown between the Bears and Saints on both CBS and the famed children's network Nickelodeon.

Although many around the world and across the NFL landscape have been locked into the kid-friendly and super fun broadcast that has been airing on Nickelodeon, Bears wide receiver and kick return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson briefly ruined the family atmosphere of the event against the Saints. A microphone on the field picked up Patterson dropping a “f-bomb” live on Nickelodeon as everyone on social media promptly had some fun with the odd occurrence.

Thankfully for all the children watching the Saints and Bears at home, former NFL wide receiver and current broadcaster Nate Burleson was quick to turn the page before halftime.

The Saints carried a narrow 7-3 halftime lead into the locker room after the first two quarters of play on Sunday afternoon in New Orleans.

However, the Saints more or less dominated the first half as New Orleans was never really out of control early on in the game.

Things would then pick up in the second half as the Saints would go on to score not one but two more touchdowns before the Bears could even sniff the end zone. Chicago currently trails 21-3.

The Saints are going to advance to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady in the NFC Divisional Playoff Game. New Orleans will hope to slime the Brady Bunch and return to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since the infamous officiating-marred loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams will meet the Green Bay Packers in the other NFC divisional round game.
