EA Sports released their Madden 21 ratings for rookie quarterbacks on Thursday and the rookie wide receivers had their ratings revealed on Friday. Of the rookie wide receivers, Henry Ruggs tops CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jeudy as the highest-rated rookie wide receiver.

Seeing that Ruggs was the first wide receiver taken in the 2020 NFL Draft, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he's the highest-rated at the position. On the other hand, Ruggs was given a 98 speed rating in Madden 21.

The only player to have a higher speed rating in Madden 20 was Tyreek Hill. With how Madden favors speedy players, Ruggs is likely going to be a popular player to use in the next year.

Besides Ruggs, Lamb and Jeudy both received a rating of 75 overall in the upcoming video game. While Jeudy boasts better ratings in speed and agility, Lamb is going to begin with a higher catch rating than Jeudy. Whether or not Jeudy or Lamb finishes with a better overall season in 2020 depends on the play of Drew Lock and Dak Prescott in the upcoming season.

The next rookie wide receiver on the rating scale is Justin Jefferson. Jefferson is tied for the third-best catch rating among rookie wide receivers.

Furthermore, the LSU pass-catcher is tied with Ruggs with an 83 catch rating. The rookie wide receiver with the highest catch rating is Michael Pittman Jr. with an impressive 85 catch rating.

Lastly, Jalen Reagor rounds out the top five rookie wide receivers with a 73 overall rating. Given his skill set at TCU, Reagor received a 93 speed rating (tied for third-highest among rookie wideouts).
