Two NFL coaches were subject to a lot of resentment in social media after their teams have been sitting not-so-pretty in the bottom of their respective divisions. Both Mike McCarthy of the Dallas Cowboys and Matt Patricia of the Detroit Lions have been in the wrong side of the headlines as of late and it seems that all these criticisms won't be dying down soon.

Former Super Bowl champion and FOX analyst Reggie Bush dragged both coaches to the ground on Thursday after the Cowboys lost their eighth game of the season against the Washington Football Team. After the 41-16 home beating, Bush called out McCarty on his Twitter account and didn't bother mincing his words.

Reggie Bush tweeted:

In a follow-up tweet, Reggie Bush was asked if the first-year Cowboys head coach was fairing better or worse than his Detroit counterpart. And again, Bush wasn't filtering his thoughts:

Seeing that both NFL teams are currently in the bottom of the team standings, you'd completely understand where the 35-year old is coming from. The Cowboys are now 3-8 while the Lions are right beside them with a 4-7 record.

Things haven't gone as planned for McCarthy's debut season in Dallas. They had a huge opportunity to dominate and lead the NFC East this season but the football gods had other plans for “America's Team”. On Thursday, McCarthy drew up a play that somehow encapsulated their season so far. The Cowboys ran a fake punt and the play embarrassingly blew up on their face.

On the other side of things, Patricia two-year tenure in Detroit is in jeopardy after things haven't gone smoothly this season Motor City. Detroit also lost their Thanksgiving Day match against the visiting Houston Texans, 41-25. Both experts and fans are now assuming that the 46-year old already has one foot out the door  as the Lions are poised to miss another playoff stint.
