Terrell Owens was presented with Hall of Fame ring on Thursday night in San Francisco and said he still has no regrets about skipping the Hall of Fame ceremony. He caused a lot of uproars this summer when he decided to not attend the Hall of Fame ceremony in Canton, Ohio. Owens instead gave his Hall of Fame Speech at his alma mater UT-Chattanooga.

Owens said he was upset at the voters who made him wait three years to get into the Hall of Fame because they focused too much on his off the field issues, instead of what he was able to accomplish on the field.

“No regrets at all,” Owens said about his decision to skip the ceremony via ESPN. “If anybody knows who Terrell Owens is outside the media portrayal of me throughout the course of my career. They know what I did. I stand by what I did. … When they tried to bring other things outside my body of work and my accomplishments, that was an issue for me. My stats spoke loudly. They spoke for themselves.”

Terrell Owens also said looking back on his career he's not sure he would change anything because they made him the man he is today and helped shape his football career.

“I can't look back and say I would have done anything differently,” he said. “I wanted to be a 49er for the rest of my career if that could happen, but not many people start and finish where they started. Look at Jerry (Rice), look at Joe Montana.”
