Why The Jets Could Cover The Spread
New York has quietly been playing solid football to end the season. It hasn't resulted in many additions to the win column, but it has resulted in three consecutive one-score games. One of those came against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that beat Buffalo earlier this season. The Jets also managed to keep a game with the Miami Dolphins close, eventually losing by a single touchdown. This is a huge spread for a team that has actually been playing decent football lately.
The Bills have gone through their fair share of struggles at home. They've earned a 5-3 record at Highmark Stadium, with one of those losses coming against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Buffalo also only owns a 3-3-2 record against the spread when they enter the game as a home favorite.
