As the NBA free agency kicked off in full swing last Friday, lucrative contracts around the association have begun to make waves across other American sports with NFL players watching this insanity unfold. From Chandler Parsons 4-year, $94 million max-contract to Mike Conley's 5-year $153 million contract, other athletes have expressed both jealousy and disbelief in these new attention-grabbing deals.

At least a few NFL players and analysts took to twitter early last Friday to express their astonishment at the amount of money being thrown around the association:

Earlier last week, however, the Indianapolis Colts resigned franchise quarterback and Stanford graduate Andrew Luck to an all-time high 6-year, $140 million contract, making Luck the highest payed player in NFL history and showing that NFL players are definitely not short for money by any stretch of the imagination. Still, as NBA free agency continues its insanity, these contracts only seem to get more and more ludicrous with time.
