Cardinals star JJ Watt goes viral for ridiculous ‘dad bod’ in workout session

Arizona Cardinals star JJ Watt is going viral on Saturday, but for the right reasons.

The veteran defensive end took to Twitter to share a photo of him during a workout session. Of course it wasn't a simple photo since he showed his jacked physique, basically making a statement to everyone that he's working hard in the offseason.

Amusingly, though, Watt couldn't help but joke around and captioned the photo “Dad bod loading”–perhaps in reference to the fact that he's becoming a dad soon.

Fans and other personalities had several funny reactions, with some even joking that he'll be subjected to a “random” drug testing in the next few days. Others also argued that his “dad bod” looks WAY different than their, and understandably so.

All jokes aside, though, JJ Watt's offseason work should make Cardinals fans happy. He is clearly is working towards the best shape of his life, and Arizona couldn't ask for more after the star DE struggled with injuries during the past season.

Watt played in just seven games in 2021 due to a shoulder injury. While he was able to return in time for the playoffs–during which they lost to the Los Angeles Rams–the Cardinals would still want him as healthy as possible come the new campaign.
