Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray finally opened up and provided detail on what happened between he and the organization earlier this offseason. Murray was presenting a $10,000 check to the Arizona Educational Foundation on Thursday, and faced the media for the first time since his playoff loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

Murray talked about the public's perception on him pulling down any mention of the Cardinals from his social media, via AZCardinals.com writer Darren Urban.

“If you are a kid my age, you're used to people take off (posts),” Murray said. “That's just a thing. I took everything off of there besides one picture. It had nothing to do with the Cardinals or anything like that.”

He went on to talk about his future with the franchise. “I'm an Arizona Cardinal… I've done nothing but give my all to the Cardinals and will continue to do that. I'm not really too worried about my future as a Cardinal.”

The Arizona Cardinals are hoping for a better finish to the 2022 season than what they had in 2021. After starting 7-0 and looking like the best team in football, the team fell apart down the stretch. Much of that had to do with injuries to quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

During the offseason, Murray and the team appeared to have hit an impasse. But it appears as though both the Cardinals the Murray are on the same page now. He is still looking for a long-term extension but is leaving that to his agent and the team.
