Lamar Jackson surprised some people by throwing for five touchdowns in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback picked up right where he left off against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. On the Ravens' first drive of the game, Jackson was able to connect with Mark Andrews for a touchdown.

Among the five touchdowns that Jackson threw last week, one of them went to Andrews for a three-yard score. This time around, Jackson threw a pass down the sideline to a wide-open Andrews for 27 yards.

As the Ravens embark on another season, Jackson is proving to his doubters that he is more than just a running quarterback. The mobile quarterback has completely silenced the critics with his improved ability to stretch the field with his arm.

Along with Jackson, the Ravens are excited to get Andrews more involved in their offense. Coming out of Oklahoma, the tight end had the potential to become a receiving threat in the NFL.

Greg Roman, Baltimore's offensive coordinator, has made a concerted effort to throw the ball more so far in the 2019 season. Last year, the Ravens utilized a run-oriented offense with Jackson under center on their way to the postseason.

However, once they reached the playoffs in 2018, their offense became too predictable. Therefore, Roman worked with his second-year quarterback to incorporate more plays into the offense this offseason.

After seeing the Ravens up to this point, it's clear that the work in the offseason paid dividends. As Jackson told the media in Week 1, his touchdown pass to Andrews isn't bad for a running back.
