Talk about a statement win. The Buffalo Bills entered a freezing Highmark Stadium and absolutely lit up the New England Patriots 47 -17. After years of being tormented by Bill Belichick's crew, Josh Allen and co. served up a heaping bunch of revenge on the Pats, earning a trip to the Divisional Round.
Josh Allen's impeccable performance may take all the headlines, but don't be mistaken. This was a team effort from all of the Bills players. Case in point: safety Micah Hyde's improbable interception on Josh Allen that left teammate Jordan Poyer bamboozled. (via Alaina Getzenberg)
Jordan Poyer said that he told Micah Hyde on the sideline that his interception might have been one of the most unbelievable plays he’s ever seen.

The Bills defense did their part in shutting down the Patriots' offense, but it was their offense that took all the spotlight. The team scored a touchdown in every single offensive drive they had this game. The Pats defense, which looked like a juggernaut in the regular season, just had no match for Allen and Buffalo. Even Harrison Phillips couldn't believe what their offense did.
Harrison Phillips asked about offense scoring TD on every possession and if he’s ever been a part of something like that. He said that sounds like “some pop Warner stuff.”

Hyde, the Bills safety mentioned earlier, summed up the Bills performance with a hilarious reference.
Article Continues BelowMicah Hyde said that if you look up complimentary football in the dictionary there should be a picture of the game the #Bills just played against the #Patriots.

This was a cathartic win for the Bills, who have long been tormented by the Patriots under Belichick and Tom Brady. In fact, many people felt that this game was some sort of therapy session for the city of Buffalo, as Allen and coach Sean McDermott didn't let up even as they were up multiple scores. Now, they await the winner of the Kansas City – Pittsburgh matchup tomorrow night.
This win, as Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes said, was simply, “amazing”.
Jerry Hughes: “It felt amazing.”
