In an ideal setup, Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy should have his 100 percent attention this offseason in getting ready for the 2018 NFL campaign. However, it hasn’t been that easy for him, especially with his ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, remaining adamant in her belief that McCoy masterminded the home invasion that left her beaten and robbed on Jul. 10.

In a lengthy Instagram message posted on Friday, Cordon expressed gratitude to those who are supporting her during her current ordeal. She also conveyed her unwavering interest in seeing “justice to be served.”

The attack on Cordon happened inside McCoy’s property in suburban Atlanta. Cordon believed that McCoy was behind the incident, telling a 911 emergency dispatcher that the invasion had “something to do with my ex-boyfriend.”

No arrests have been made, and police have yet to single out at least one suspect since the reported attack on Cordon, but the NFL has started an internal investigation to look into the matter and see whether McCoy needs to be sanctioned.

The Bills, meanwhile, have not stopped LeSean McCoy from joining them in practice and training camp this offseason. They have also expressed their complete support for the 30-year-old tailback, per Mike Rodak of ESPN.

McCoy said the team was backing him “110 percent” and he was “very confident” he would play in the regular-season opener.
