According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, no evidence has been found to link Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy to the invasion of his ex-girlfriend's home earlier this year.

McCoy's former sweetheart, Delicia Cordon, accused him of being aware of her impending assault and the theft of multiple items from her home in Georgia. She claimed that her assailants were accomplices of his. Apparently, McCoy asked the jewelry that was stolen to be returned to him shortly before the incident occurred. Earlier this year, Cordon filed a report claiming that McCoy beat his son and dog. She went on to say he made use of performance-enhancing drugs. No evidence was found for either of these claims, via ESPN.

“I'll take care of that stuff,” McCoy said Wednesday. “But right now, the only thing I can worry about is the Baltimore Ravens and keeping everything the same with that. Just focusing in on this big week for me, Week 1.”

The Bills have been vocal in their support of McCoy during the investigation. His teammates and coaching staff have been behind him from the beginning. If things proceed as they have been, McCoy should be clear of all charges soon.

Buffalo will need him to be focused in their Week 1 matchup against the Ravens today. His touches will be valuable to the inexperienced Nathan Peterman that will be under center for the Bills. McCoy will be essential to helping him make a difficult season opener on the road competitive.
