Stefon Diggs is reportedly hinting at a restructured contract with the Buffalo Bills. With fellow star wide receivers Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill getting lucrative deals with the Las Vegas Raiders and Miami Dolphins, respectively, it's hard to blame Diggs to angle for the same.

In recent weeks, the Bills WR has been hinting at wanting a new deal, even though he still has two years left on his current one amounting to almost $36 million. On Tuesday, he posted what could be viewed as a cryptic tweet, saying “Make your own luck.”

While he could just very well be talking in general, it's hard not to analyze it as a subtle message that he will decide his own fate, and not the Bills. Is he open to seeking a trade? It doesn't help that there are rumors flying around that Diggs could be shipped to another team.

Even former Bills general manager Doug Whaley, in an interview with Sirius XMNFL last Monday, boldly predicted that the Bills will part ways with Diggs soon because the team won't afford him anymore in light of the megadeals of Adams and Hill. But of course, just to be clear, everything is still speculative at this point.

The 28-year-old Diggs was instrumental in the Bills' run to the Super Bowl last season and perhaps more importantly, he's a highly respected figure in the locker room.

Some observers believe that Diggs will eventually get the bag, and with player empowerment changing the landscape of contract negotiations, the Bills have a very tough decision to make. It appears they too have to make their own luck.
