There are teams around the sports world that continue to commit to paying their employees amid the coronavirus pandemic and the Buffalo Bills are the latest team in the NFL to make the announcement. Ahead of free agency, Bills ownership pledged to pay for gameday employees' lost wages.
It's worth mentioning that the Bills' owners also own the Buffalo Sabres, the NHL club. The NHL season was recently stalled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Unlike some of the other leagues, the NFL season hasn't been directly affected by the coronavirus yet. However, if the widespread pandemic continues to worsen, the Bills are prepared to help their employees.

Across the major sports leagues, there have been multiple players to pledge money toward helping team employees. Even though the players are doing it for a good cause, it should be up to the owners to configure ways to compensate their employees.
As of this moment, the NFL hasn't chosen to suspend any of the upcoming events in the offseason. On the other hand, they did choose to cancel the annual owner meetings and disallowed pre-draft visits for teams.
While those events were canceled, the NFL is keeping the start of the new league year on March 18. Therefore, free agents are free to sign with teams once the new league year begins as scheduled. But if the coronavirus continues to have an effect later this year, the Bills have their employees taken care of.
