Despite being a newcomer in the league, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is not showing a lack in his confidence thus far. Despite being constantly hit by grown men and not getting the calls to go in his favor, the 23-year-old rookie is poised that he will soon earn his respect as he aims to be one of the greatest players to ever play the game of football.

In a story via Adam Lefkoe on The Lefkoe Show, it was told that Burrow was hit by Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Malik Jackson back in their Week 3 matchup. After not getting the flag from the official, the quarterback didn't complain but instead told the Eagles defensive lineman that he will get the call once he's become the GOAT.

Despite the strong claim, Burrow has been able to make a good account of himself due to his solid performances in their games this season. He has emerged as a bright spot on the Bengals team that has gradually improved but still continues to struggle as a unit compared to their counterparts. Being placed in a tough AFC North competition doesn't help their cause either.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner recently came up with a big performance to score a 31-20 upset against the Tennessee Titans. He led the Bengals' offense and generated 249 passing yards on a 26/37 passing clip along with two passing touchdowns.

With his team currently holding a dismal 2-5-1 record, Burrow will focus on making the most out of his rookie campaign and aim to show that he has already established himself as one of the best players in the league.
