The Cincinnati Bengals have not known what true success looks like. While it doesn't seem like the end of the dark tunnel they're in won't end, head coach Zac Taylor wrote a passionate letter to the fans promising one thing: their time is coming.

Dave Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer took note of the message Taylor had to the Bengals season ticket holders, and it's a powerful message that asks them to keep the faith on the team they've supported for so long.

It's a new year and we are focused on building a winning culture that creates excitement for Bengals fans.

We're officially “On the Clock” for the 2020 NFL Draft and have a lot of draft capital that can improve our team. It starts with the No. 1 overall pick and we will be looking for a player that can elevate this team and help us win immediately.

There is going to be a lot of excitement when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announces our first pick on April 23, and we want to see that enthusiasm continue all the way through the season.

The biggest reason for this positivity is the presence of one Joe Burrow. Burrow is a fantastic QB for LSU who led the Tigers to win the National Championship. He's expected to become the face of the franchise for years to come as he's the de facto first overall pick.

However, there's more to a winning culture than just a young, exciting quarterback. The team must be able to surround him with the right talent and coaching to help him thrive, and that's going to be the challenge Taylor must address.
