The Cleveland Browns made a lot of additions this offseason, including tight end Demetrius Harris. The Browns brought in a ton of big names like Odell Beckham Jr., Olivier Vernon, and Kareem Hunt, so Harris understandably hasn't gotten a ton of attention.

As a backup tight end, Harris isn't going to draw too many headlines, and he's ok with that. Harris spent the first five years of his career with the Chiefs, so he's been in a winning culture before. Harris thinks that's an asset, and that he'll be able to help the team in that way.

“I know how to win. I know what winning feels like. I know how almost getting to the Super Bowl feels,” Harris said recently, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. “Just want to bring that winning mentality and to show them how to win.”

“And not just make it to the playoffs. Yes, my first goal here is to win the division, but after that we want to win the AFC championship and then a Super Bowl. I want to go beyond the AFC championship. That’s not the real goal. That might be people’s goal, but that’s not the real goal,” he continued.

That's got to be music to the ears of Browns fans, and Harris is clearly very hungry. He also sounds pretty high on his new quarterback Baker Mayfield.

“Baker throws harder than Pat. He most definitely does,” he said. “Pat throws it hard, but not like Bake, though,” Harris declared.

Although David Njoku is the tight end of the future for Cleveland, that doesn't mean Harris won't be able to carve out a role. He can be useful as a blocker and catch some passes as well, and it sounds like he's looking forward to being a leader.
