Deshaun Watson remains a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns despite the controversies surrounding him, and it is going to take an extraordinary effort from him to mentally block out the thought of his off-the-field issues and just play football. During a practice session with the Browns, Watsons showed some cracks in his game, including this pass he threw that got picked by safety John Johnson III.

Turnovers like that happen all the time in minicamps and practices in the NFL. There is really nothing about that play that should leave Browns fans concerned about the form of Watson once Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season rolls around. What's more worrisome is how the Watson situation would unfold in the coming days, weeks, and months.
Watson is facing over 20 sexual assault and sexual misconduct allegations, which did not stop the Browns from signing him to an incredibly massive deal that's worth $230 million across five years. That's a guaranteed contract that came with a $44.965 million signing bonus.

In any case, the Browns rolled the dice on Watson and they will have to live with the decision they made on him.
