The Cleveland Browns secured their third win of the season in Week 4 as they defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a 14-7 final score.

Much talk following the game has shifted towards quarterback Baker Mayfield's sluggish performance on the day, as he recorded 155 passing yards and posted a lowly 59.5 passer rating.

The Browns passer had several missed opportunities over the course of the game, including underthrowing Odell Beckham Jr. in the fourth quarter on what would have been an effortless receiving touchdown for the wideout.

After the win for Cleveland, head coach Kevin Stefanski touched on just where it went wrong for Mayfield in the game. Instead of pinpointing the blame on Mayfield for the outing, Stefanski instead took responsibility for it and noted that he simply needs to do more to open up the offense for the quarterback.

“I'd have to look at it,” Stefanski said. “I mean I struggled. I've got to do a better job of getting guys open.”

Mayfield most notably did not have strong chemistry with his top receiving threats against Minnesota, including with Beckham. Including the mentioned underthrow in the fourth quarter, Mayfield only connected with Beckham on two out of his intended seven throws to him.

While the Browns defense has been posting formidable performances as of late, all eyes are also on Mayfield to see whether he can get the most out of the team's receiving threats.
