Former first-overall selection Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns is a perfectionist.
The imposing, 6-foot-4 defensive end studies film diligently and does not want to settle for anything other than the best.

Article Continues BelowI’m critical during the play, and when I watch it again, I’m like, I don’t want to watch it. I’m like, ‘Gosh I know I messed up on this play.’ I have to get over that hump, so you know, push through and figure out, what can you do better? Can you jump a little bit further, can you read this quicker? You know, small things that lead to big things.
Garrett, 23, was selected first by the Browns in 2017 and represents the young face of Cleveland's defense. Although the Texas A&M product was only limited to 11 games his rookie season, that doesn't stop Garrett from making 31 combined tackles and seven sacks.
Garrett's numbers the next year, during the 2018 season, were even more garish; he recorded 44 combined tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 29 QB hits, forced three fumbles, and 13.5 sacks. The young DE wound up finishing fifth in the league in sacks his second season, with a promising future ahead.
Garrett, who has an off-field personality filled with a passion for dinosaurs and “Harry Potter,” was the first in a back-to-back top pick sequence for the Browns. Cleveland's struggles have been well documented, but with Garrett leading the defense and former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Baker Mayfield calling the shots on offense, the Dawgs have a real chance at forming a dominant squad for the long run.
